We’re in the midst of a heatwave here in the Central Valley, and it’s officially summertime! If I’m being honest, it’s hard to focus on swimming pools and fireworks when Halloween decorations are already sneaking into stores in mid-June.

 

When my cousin introduced me to the Official Pokémon Player’s Guide, along with Pokémon Red many years ago in the late '90s, I was instantly hooked!

Let's travel to a galaxy, far, far away and embrace the eerie ambiance settling in like the dense fog on Dagobah. I've been wanting to do a Star Wars entry for awhile and after doing some digging, I pulled together a few memories, books, figures and an episode of Star Wars: Rebels that totally fit the Goblin Candy esthetic. As an adult, Star Wars is pretty tame when it comes to anything scary. As a kid, some stuff can be considered a little unsettling or even nightmare inducing. 

The weekend is here and the agenda is set: a date with the TV, an abundance of junk food, and slowly becoming one with the couch. We're headed to Goblin Candy Video, where we'll stock up on some terrifying tapes and maybe even a video game or two.

 

Welcome to this month’s cozy little blog post where I’m celebrating some seriously awesome seasonal sodas. Lately, I’ve been yearning for October’s charm, and it seems like everywhere I go, I catch a glimpse of Halloween. I stumbled upon a Mountain Dew VooDew from last season and felt it was the perfect time to dive into sodas that have received a Halloween makeover.

Although VooDew has become the new official drink of Halloween, I wanted to explore beyond the expected, so it won’t be on the list. Let’s face it, Mountain Dew VooDew deserves its own post! So, grab your coolest cup, and let’s toast to the ghostly, the mysterious, and the delicious drinks that make Halloween so special.
